Uninterruptible power supply （UPS） is widely applied in many fields, but general UPS can＇t meet some requirements on special occasions, a kind of unconventional high power UPS is introduced, it＇s main characteristic is to convert single phase 220 V into three-phase 380 V/220 V.The operation principle and special functions are introduced.The key technique difficulties are described.The calculation formulas of main parameters are deduced.Finally the testing results are given.
