Thermal power plant is big energy consumption. This paper analyzes the situation of energy consumption for thermal power plant, summaries the reconstruction methods of energy conservation which are widely used in thermal power plant, provides the theoretical basis for energy saving quantity estimating, and illustrates the process and methods of energy conservation quantity estimating.
