定期在线测量各电池端电压，当各单体电池压差过大时，要进行均充。长时间不停电，应每间隔3个月左右关闭市电，让UPS电池对负载放电一次，以保证电池的活性。UPS电源应安装在清洁、阴凉、通风、干燥的地方。
