转型时期的大学英语教材编写理念问题研究

College English Textbooks to Cope with a Transition:Principles and Problems

本文通过对近几年出版的大学英语教材的分析,进一步阐明了笔者在五年前提出的第五代大学英语教材的概念及其编写理念,并在学习者需求、人文素质教育、以内容为依托的教学、教材的真实性、学生自主学习能力和语言训练的度等六个方面提出自己的看法,结论是,转型时期的大学英语教材应该以内容为依托,发展学生的学术英语能力。

Based on an analysis of four newly-published College English textbooks,the author explains furtherthe principles for the fifth generation of College English textbooks he has put forward before centred onlearners'needs,content-based instruction,authenticity of texts,students'autonomy and so on.Theauthor lays special emphasis on the necessity of EAP or English for academic purposes.
