New understanding of antiretroviral therapy for HIV/AIDS

艾滋病在全球范围内的传播给该病的防治工作带来了巨大挑战。抗病毒治疗是治疗艾滋病的最主要、也是最有效的治疗措施。近年来,人们在艾滋病抗病毒治疗时机与方案、艾滋病合并结核病患者的抗病毒治疗、抗病毒治疗随访与耐药检测等方面有很多新的认识。抗病毒治疗不仅能改善艾滋病患者的预后,而且可减少艾滋病毒在人群中的传播。

It is a huge challenge for human being that HIV/AIDS epidemic has spread all around the world.Antiretroviral therapy（ART）is the most important and effective therapy for HIV/AIDS.In recent years,great progress has been made in ART of HIV/AIDS.The new understanding of ART includes：1）the optimal timing and strategies for the treatment of HIV/AIDS;2）ART for HIV/AIDS patients with tuberculosis;3）follow-up for HIV/AIDS patients and HIV drug resistance testing before ART.ART can not only improve the prognosis and life qualities of HIV/AIDS patients,but also prevent HIV from spreading among the population.
