The Evolution and Improvement of the Main WLAN's Security Standard

无线网络因其连接方便又灵活已经非常普及了,但是无线网络的安全性一直是一个突出问题。IEEE和Wi-Fi先后出台了相应的标准和协议来保证无线网络的安全性,包括国际上通用的IEEE802.11标准,WPA,IEEE802.11i(WPA2),并用密码技术在其演化过程中做了很多改进,提高了WLAN的安全性。

WLAN has been poptdarized greatly due to its convenience and flexibility, but the problem of its security has always been a prominent one. IEEE and Wi-Fi have put forward their corresponding standards and protocols to ensure WLAN security, among which are the intemationaUy universal IEEE802.11, WPA and IEEE802.11i （WPA2）, have made much improvement with the technology of cryptography during the process of evolution. All these measures enhance the security of WLAN.
