英语外宣报道中的“译”与“释” 被引量:1

摘要 通过大量现成实例分析,阐述了英语外宣报道不同于单纯的汉译英,并非是对汉语新闻的逐字英译,两者不能简单地一视同仁,此外,英语外宣报道更多地采用"译"与"释"。外宣报道(包括时见报端的新词新语)在跨文化传播过程中的成功与否,首先取决于传播效果,其次才是如何确保汉语新闻英译的清晰度。 Based on a host of ready-made examples,this paper illustrates the view that external-publicity translation is far from the traditional word-for-word translation of Chinese news.In addition,it stresses the particularities of publicity-oriented C/E translation by way of combining translation with explanation in most cases.The paper concludes that the former emphasizes,for its success,firstly on the communication effect subjected to proper translation of neologisms appeared frequently on the newspapers and journals,secondly on its clarity of the English translation of Chinese news in the cross-cultural communication.
