Exchange and Discussion of Urban Cultural Landscape & Heritage——a Summary of Sub-forum of 1st High-Level Forum for Urbanology

为了推动城市文化景观遗产保护的创新发展,首届城市学高层论坛专门设立了城市文化景观遗产保护分论坛。与会专家学者围绕西湖申遗成功后的保护管理及城市文化景观遗产保护的概念特征、实现途径、重点难点、研究基础、创新发展等议题进行了深入探讨。基于专家研讨形成的共识,首届城市学高层论坛通过了《城市文化景观遗产保护杭州宣言》,试图构建当代文化景观与历史文化遗产在城市发展中的和谐统一。

In order to put forward the urban cultural landscape ＆ heritage protection＇ s innovative development, 1st annual high- level forum for urbanology especially set up the sub-forum for this academic field. Specialists and scholars attending the forum discussed several topics about urban cultural landscape ＆ heritage in depth, for example, the protection and administration of Westlake after it＇ s joining in World Cultural Heritage List and some issues on the protection of urban cultural landscape ＆ heritage, i.e. concepts and characteristics, achievement and methods, research foundation, innovative development. Depending on common view of specialists, the forum passed Hangzhou Declaration on the Protection of Urban Cultural Landscape ＆ Heritage, attempted to realize the harmonious agreement of contemporary cultural landscapes and historical cultural heritage in the process of urban development.
