陈嘉庚航海体育教育思想的形成有其特定过程。航海体育教育思想贯穿航海教育全过程,即"三育并重,全面发展,体育素质全面,专业技能突出"。遵循陈嘉庚航海体育教育思想,丰富陈嘉庚航海体育教育思想不懈的追求:爱国、敬业、重德、诚信和奋斗的思想和行为;毅以处事,百折不饶,努力奋斗的精神;永不服输体育精神的时代内涵。
The present paper starts with an exposition of how Tan Kah Kee remarks on what role physical education plays in shipping and the fact that his shipping-propelling P. E. curriculum is implemented in contemporary China＇s Maritime Universities. It then contrasts the shipping-related P. E. programs and proposes such new areas as
