从余光中中西融通的语言观出发,运用对比语言学理论,通过对其译作的描述性研究,更为全面地探讨其"西而化之"、"善性西化"的翻译思想和特色,以展示其文学翻译活动的潜在动机。通过余光中的语言观反思其翻译思想和实践,既有助于提高对语言西化的认识,也有利于理解其翻译特点。

The paper examines YU Guangzhong＇ s translation thoughts and features of ＂digestion of westernized language＂ and ＂kind westernization＂ from the perspective of his view on literary language of fusing western language and Chinese so as to display the inner motivation in his translation, Besides, contrastive linguistic theory will be adopted to study his translated works in a descriptive way, which is helpful not only in reassessing westernization of language, but also in understanding YU＇s translation styles.
