Every n×n matrix in the number field Pis similar to an only one rational standard form and calculating the rational standard form of a n×n matrix is a difficult problem.Matlab is a very useful tool to deal with mathematic problems.This paper uses Matlab designing a program to calculate the rational standard form of a n×n matrix and the Matlab program is designed.
