库恩范式的不可通约性——从意义与指称的角度看

Analysis on Incommensurability of Kuhn's Paradigm Theory From the View of Meaning and Reference

库恩认为范式之间具有无法避免的不可通约性,同时指出不可通约不是不可比,这成为哲学讨论的一个重要问题。以谢夫勒通过区别意义和指称对这一问题所做的解释为基础,着重分析库恩的"意义不可通约"思想,并指出库恩的实在论立场为其不可通约而又可比的理论提供本体论上的依据。

According to Kuhn,there exists an inevitable incommensurability between different paradigms,which,however,are not incomparable.This has become an important issue in contemporary philosophical discussions.In this paper,it discussed the semantic incommensurability primarily on the basis of Scheffler＇s interpretation on the problem of comparability,and finally illustrated the realist position and ontological basis of Kuhn on the issue of incommensurable but comparable paradigms.
