英语拟植物修辞格探析及英汉翻译研究

无论是中国还是西方国家,人类表达情感的方式大体上是相同的,这一点也反映在修辞格上的运用上。拟人(Personification)已被人们所广泛理解与接受,然而拟植物(Plantification)却鲜为人知,本文拟对英语中拟植物修辞格进行分析,并探讨在英译汉翻译中如何处理拟植物修辞格,这将有助于提高翻译的质量。

The ways in which people express their feelings are almost the same both in China and foreign countries. Personification has been well understood and widely accepted and used, while few people have paid attention to Plantification. This article discusses Plantification in English, and how to deal with Plantification during translation. And it shows that more understanding of Plantification can help us to improve our translation.
