摘要
目前在许多城市,公示语逐渐采用中英双语来表示,而公示语的汉译英存在着不少的问题。本文通过实例分析了公示语的使用中存在的这些问题,希望能够唤起越来越多的人对公示语翻译质量的重视,使其更加规范和谐。
Nowadays, bilingual public signs are provided in most cities in order to bring convenience to foreigners. The problems in the Chinese-English translation of public signs, were analyzed with real examples. The author sincerely hopes that this thesis would do its share in arousing public attention to the quality of C-E translation of public signs.
