论高校图书量与质的科学平衡控制

Discussion on How to Keep the Balance between Quantity and Quality of Collected Books in University Library

分析了高校图书馆图书管理中存在的问题和原因,提出了图书质与量的平衡控制途径,即实行科学管理,优化现有图书资源配置,控制好图书购入质量关,做好图书常规剔旧控制以及把纸质图书与电子图书有机结合、实现信息共享等。

This paper analyzes some problems existing in books management in university library,probes into the reasons why these problems occur,and puts forward some ways for keeping the balance between the quantity and quality of library＇s collected books,including the implementation of scientific management,the optimization of library＇s existing resources configuration,the good control of books purchasing quality,the good control of books＇ regular weeding,and the organic combination of paper books and electronic books,and the realization of information sharing,etc.
