《春秋左传注》蔡“邓”、楚“邓”辨析

Discrimination on the Chu's Deng and Cai's Deng in the Chunqiu Zuozhuanzhu

春秋时期,以邓命名的地区概有2个:一个是蔡国邓地(简称蔡"邓"),一个是楚国邓县(即古邓国,简称楚"邓")。《左传》鲁成公九年(前582年)载:"郑伯会楚公子成于邓。"关于此条记载,杨伯峻指出郑、楚两国相会之邓为楚"邓"。但通过对蔡"邓"、楚"邓"地望的准确界定,并结合对春秋时期晋楚两国争霸形势及楚国会盟人员公子成身份的详细分析,可以断定杨伯峻的考释有误,鲁成公九年郑、楚相会地点当在蔡"邓"。

In the Spring and Autumn Period,there were two regions called Deng（邓）.One is Cai＇s Deng（蔡＂邓＂）,the other is Chu＇s Deng（楚＂邓＂）.ZhengCheng Gong（郑成公） met Gong Zi Cheng（公子成） at the Deng（邓）,which was recorded in Zuo Zhuan entitled the 9th year of LuCheng Gong（582 BC）.On this issue,Yang Bojun（杨伯峻）,the well-known historian,believe that the Deng（邓） where they met is Chu＇s Deng（楚＂邓＂）.However,by detailed analysis of the Cai＇s Deng（蔡＂邓＂） and Chu＇s Deng（楚＂邓＂）,combined with hegemony situation in the Spring and Autumn Period,with the status of Gong Zi Cheng（公子成）,the author believe that Yang Bojun＇s argument is wrong,where two countries met is Cai＇s Deng（蔡＂邓＂） at 582 BC.
