Strategic Emerging Industry plays an important role in improvement of industry structure and changing the mode of economic growth.The article stresses the characteristics of Strategic Emerging Industry,takes Zhenjiang City as an example,analyzes the developing path and weaknesses of SEI,constructs evaluation index system and selective model of SEI,and proposes countermeasures to development of Strategic Emerging Industry in Zhenjiang.
