Epistemological Turn of Christian Beliefs in Early Modern Times

基督教信仰在近代经历了认识论上的转向。一方面,在信仰的客观对象上,逐渐由惟独信仰圣经转向信仰圣经和作为教义体系的信经;另一方面,作为主观行为的信仰,逐渐由拯救意义上的信靠转向为认识论意义上的认识,即人通过理性认识信经并表示同意。这种转向是宗教改革在信仰实践和教义争论上的必然结果。

There was an epistemological turn of Christian beliefs in early modern times.On the one hand,its object of belief gradually turned from the sole belief in the Bible to the belief in both the Bible and the Creed as a religious system.On the other hand,as a belief of subjective behavior,it changed from a belief in salvation to an epistemological understanding,that is,a rational understanding of the Creed and its acceptance.This turn was an unavoidable result of religious reform on religious practice and convictions.
