摘要
《草原日出》是英国著名作家多利丝.莱辛的经典短篇小说,在其优美文字下面蕴藏着深刻的生态哲理。本文从生态文学的视角,通过考察主人公身上所体现出的成长的冲动,成长的过程,到结尾时的成长的顿悟三方面,来分析小说中主人公的成长历程。
A Sunrise on the Veld is one of best short stories written by British writer Doris Lessing,who honored with the Nobel Prize in 2007.Besides its beautiful language,the short story projects a profound thinking and deep concern about the ecological world.The initiation progress of the hero is discussed from tracing three developing phases： growth impulse,growth and epiphany,to reveal Lessing＇s highly-woven feat by combing the themes of ecology and initiation.
