Economic composition of Foreign Language Teaching andEnglish Teaching Reform in Vocational College

本文从语言经济学的角度以价值和效用、费用和效益为理论依据对现行高职英语教学中所存在的问题进行分析,说明高职英语教学改革的必要和紧迫。及时改革高职英语教学,提高教学资源的利用率,有利于培养学生外语综合应用能力,获得投资预期效益和效用。

From the Language Economics perspective, the paper analyzes theoretically the existing problems on the basis of the val- ue, effectiveness, cost and efficiency. It is urgent and necessary to carry out the reform of English teaching. Timely reform of English teaching and improving utilization of teaching resources, helping to train students＇ comprehensive foreign language proficiency will ben- efit the students in improving their ability in comprehensive foreign language proficiency and get expected benefits and utility of invest- ment.
