On the issue of the adult guardianship, the mediation procedures have unique advantages in comparison to the judicial proceedings. The comparative advantages of the mediation process resolving the issue of adult guardianship system is mainly em- bodied in cost saving, improving the effectiveness and promoting interpersonal harmony. China should introduce the experience of the United States and establish our country＇s mediation proceedings in adult guardianship system which adapts to the exact condi- tions of our country.
