武陵山区少数民族人口变化与民族政策的关系研究

On Relationship Between Population Changes and National Policies in Wuling Mountain Areas

武陵山区是中国典型的少数民族聚居地区。改革开放以来,在少数民族人口政策的作用之下,武陵山区的少数民族人口增长迅速,这对该地区的经济、政治、文化和社会发展都产生了重要的影响。由于人口的过快增长,已经影响到了武陵山区少数民族的发展,并拉大了该地区与其他地区的经济差距。因此,必须进一步调整和完善民族政策,控制武陵山区少数民族人口的过快增长,实现人口与经济的协调发展。

The Wuling Mountain areas is a typical of ethnic minority areas in China. Since reform and opening, the region minority population has increased quickly owing to the population policy adopted for minority, which had a significant impact on the region＇s economic, political, cultural and social development. The excessive growth of population has affected the development of ethnic minorities in Wuling Mountain and widen the gap among different regions . Therefore, we must further adjust and improve the national policy to control the excessive growth of minority population to realize the coordinated development between the population and the economic development.
