During the first half of 2011 net income for Great Wall Motors increased 109%to 1.8 billion RMB,leaving the company in 2nd place among listed automobile manufacturers and making them a true power in the automobile industry.However,during this time period BYD,Chery,Geely and other private enterprises each reported poor market performance,news which in the end adversely affected Great Wall Motor. On September 28th.although Great Wall Motors(2333.HK) managed to return to the A share market with an IPO price of 13 RMB.raising 3.9 RMB in the process,that very same day shares fell as much as 8.85%.The current poor outlook for Great Wall has lead Great Wall Motors Chairman Wei Jianjun to face more and more pressure.
