The Natural Spirit of Taoism and the Contemporary Literature of China

随着道家自然精神在新时期文学的复归,中国当代作家积极构建自然的精神家园、追求理想的自然人性、保持无为超然的生活态度,从而使中国当代文学充溢着轻盈的气韵、飞扬的思绪和空灵的气息。然而道家自然精神本身固有的缺陷和弱点使中国当代文学整体上呈现出虚妄、无奈的荒凉诗意。

With the return of the natural spirit of Taoism in the new era＇s literature,contemporary writers of China construct the natural homestead of spirit actively and hold an attitude of inaction and detachment so that the contemporary literature of China is permeated with tender flavor,soaring thought and intangible air.However,the inherent characteristics and defect of the natural spirit of Taoism make the whole literature of China appear a kind of lorn poetic image of emptiness and helplessness.
