当今世界处在一个以西方发达资本主义国家为主导的全球化时代,随着全球化的迅猛发展,文化日益成为综合国力竞争的重要因素。西方发达资本主义国家正极力推行文化霸权主义。面对这种文化霸权主义,中国文化该何去何从。本文试图在分析西方文化霸权主义的基本特征基础上,寻求中国文化发展的出路。

Today the world is in the age of globalization dominated by western developed countries, with rapid development of globalization, the culture is increasingly becoming the important factor of competition in overall national strength. However, differences between Chinese and western economic development level in a certain extent also lead to weak east and strong west situation on cultural development. Therefore, western developed countries are pushing for cultural hegemonism, in the attempt to get rights of speak on culture. Facing such cultural hegemonism, how should Chinese culture do？ This paper analyses the basic characteristics of western cultural hegemony, searching for the direction of Chinese cultural development.
