On Expressions of Request in Sino-Japanese Communication

请求的表达是中日跨文化交际中经常要碰到的问题。由于照搬汉语的表达模式、铺垫模式和思维模式,中国人向日本人表达请求时常常出现语用失误。日语的请求表达具有句型多、制约因素复杂和省略人称指向等特点。因此,在中日交际过程中,我们必须摆脱母语干扰,注意场合、身份、人称等制约因素,选择合适句型,运用各种铺垫和委婉表达,恰当地表达自己的请求。

The expressions of request are frequently practiced in Sino-Japanese cross-cultural communication.Being influenced by Chinese expression patterns,bedding modes and thinking modes,Chinese often face pragmatic failures when expressing requests to Japanese,because Japanese expressions of request are characterized with various patterns and types of sentences,complex factors of restriction and personal pronoun omission.Therefore,in Sino-Japanese communication,it is a must to shake offthe disturbance of mother tongue,pay attention to the situational factors,identity and person,choose the appropriate sentence patterns,and make use of all sorts of matting and euphemisms to express our requests properly.
