A significant phenomenon about the reconstruction after Wenchuan Earthquake is government reinventing in the earthquake disaster area. Several county governments carry out administration reforms simultaneously during the recon-structing course. After studying the reinventing mechanism of county governments in the disaster areas, this article finds that different from ordinary government reinventing, these governments initiate reinvention for special reasons, including the supervision from public voice, the auditing by the central government and the communication with supported cities, which are most important factors of promoting the governments inventing. However, the focus effect is temporary, and the persistence of these governments reinventing is being worth paid close attention to.
