薄壳山核桃新品种——茅山1号的选育

Maoshan 1,a new pecan cultivar

茅山1号是通过实生选种选出的薄壳山核桃新品种。该品种坚果短圆形，基部浑圆；平均单果质量8．6～8．9g，出仁率47．56％～48．67％；粗脂肪65．20％～66．10％，蛋白质10．32％～10．50％，油酸58．91％～59．59％，亚油酸30．69％～31．14％；品质优良，15味香甜；雌雄花期基本相遇，丰产性好；抗病性强；10月下旬坚果成熟，果实生育期为160d。

Maoshanl is a new pecan cultivar obtained by seedling selection. The nut is short rounded with perfectly round base. The average fruit weight is 8.6 to 8.9 g with 47.56% to 48.67% kernel. The crude fat, protein, oleic acid and linoleic acid are 65.20% to 66.10%, 10.32% to 10.50%, 58.91% to 59.59% and 30.69% to 31.14%, respectively. The nut has ex- cellent quality and sweet taste. Male and female flowers almost bloom at the same period. The yield is high and the disease resistance is strong. The fruit ripens in late October and its development period is about 160 days.
