Absorbing the experience of source sharing in America library alliance and according to survey data from Yancheng university library union, this paper analyzes the differences and similarities of guide - reading service between an individual college library and allied ones, and then illustrates how to practice innovative guide - reading service in Chinese university library union from the administrative mode, the service style and the content of service.
