Laozi′s View on Dignity and Honour

老子的尊严观是其"道"统驭下的尊严观,是同乎其"德"的尊严观。不论是对生命的珍惜和敬重,或是统治者在百姓心目中的地位和敬畏,还是个人在社会中的价值体现和认可,都是如此。且得一份"道",同一份"德",则增一分尊严。得大道成善德,则如同大道大德,无为而有为,不治而大治,无有而富足,不争而无争,无尊而至尊。

Laozi＇s view on dignity and honour is dictated by the ＂Dao＂. Laozi was one of the greatest thinkers of per - Qin Dinesty. He thought that not only dignity and honour on one＇s life but on the rulers and on social part were dominated by the ＂ Dao ＂ and ＂ De ＂ ,and the deeper and firmly one rely ＂ Dao＂ ,the more dignity and honour he will get,the more one get ＂ De ＂ ,the more dignity and honour he will get.
