基于SIFT特征点的目标跟踪算法

摘要 提出一种结合背景建模方法和基于SIFT特征点匹配方法的目标跟踪算法,该算法首先使用背景建模方法获得目标区域,然后对目标区域进行SIFT特征点提取,再利用特征点匹配方法实现视频目标跟踪,为了减小误配点,采用RANSAC方法来消除误配点。最后对算法进行了实验,实验结果表明,该算法可有效跟踪运动目标。 A SIFT feature-based tracking algorithm is proposed by combination of the background modeling method and the feature point-based tracking method.The algorithm obtain the area of the moving object by the background subtraction method,and then matches the objects between the SIFT features of the object in the current frame and the SIFT features of the object in the next frame to realize the object tracking.The algorithm extracts the SIFT features of the moving object region only from the region of the object.Then RANSAC method is used to reduce the mismatched feature points.Experimental results show that this algorithm is efficient.
