An Exploration into the Ethics of the Scientific Outlook on Development

科学发展观伦理思想,是以马克思主义世界观方法论为指导,在深刻总结和借鉴国外发展实践的经验教训的基础上,针对我国经济社会发展的现实所提出来的一种以科学发展、和谐发展、全面协调可持续发展为主要内容的发展伦理思想。科学发展观伦理思想是继邓小平伦理思想和"三个代表"重要思想的伦理思想之后中国当代马克思主义伦理思想发展的最新成果,它深刻而又系统地回答了"什么是发展、为什么发展、怎样发展"等一系列重大理论和实践问题,提出了"以人为本"、"民生幸福"以及和谐共生等核心命题和观点,创立了马克思主义发展伦理理论,已经成为并将继续成为指导新世纪新阶段我国发展先进伦理文化和社会主义道德建设的理论基础和行动指南。

The ethics of the Scientific Outlook on Development are developed under the guidance of Marxist World Outlook, on the basis of a summary of and a reference to the experience and lessons of other countries in their developing practice and in view of the economic and social development in China, with scientific development, harmonious development and all-round coordinated and sustainable development as the main contents. They are another new achievement in the development of Chinese Marxist ethics after the emergence of Deng Xiaoping Ethics and the ethics of the idea of ＂Three Represents＂. They answer systematically and in depth the major theoretical and practical questions of ＂What is development？ Why should develop？＂ And ＂How should we develop？＂, put forward the core ideas of ＂putting people first＂, ＂people＇s livelihood and happiness＂, and harmonious co-existence, and establish the theory of Marxist development ethics. And this has become and will continue to be theoretical foundation and guide of action for us to develop advanced ethical culture and socialist morality construction in the new century.
