桑的净化功能——《狐狸烟祭》中所反映桑的原初内涵

The Purification of "bsang"——the original connotation of "bsang" explained in the ritual text "wavi bsang"

煨桑是藏族人的一种仪式,在产生之初主要是一种净化仪式。如今"桑"的主要功能是向神灵进献供品,人们通过焚烧供品进献神灵以求得到神灵的眷顾。其中佛教的影响是不可忽视的。煨桑这种仪式的内涵如今也是多元的,不但是祭祀仪式,还有净化、迎神等意。文章试图通过解读《狐狸烟祭》这篇仪轨经文,来说明煨桑这种仪式所具有的强大的净化功能。

＂bsang＂ , burning aromatic plants, is widely operated religious ritual in Tibet. Originally the ritual was for purification but today its main function is to offer sacrifices to the gods. People burn offerings aiming to offer sacrifices to the gods, they do it all out of getting blessed from the gods. Buddhist influence to the ritual can not be ignored. Today the connotations of ＂bsang＂ are also diverse, not only worshipping, but also purification and offerring sacrifices to the gods. This article attempts to interpret the ritual texts ＂wavi bsang＂ aiming to illustrate ＂bsang＂ great function of purification.
