国际化是当今高等教育最重要的焦点,为医学院校带来了强有力的挑战和机遇。为适应医学教育国际化发展,汕头大学医学院将建设"国际化、有特色、国内一流、世界知名"作为办学目标,通过围绕国际医学教育标准创新医学教学模式、营造国际化氛围、建设国际化师资队伍、率先建立教师成长中心、开展临床医学专业认证等教育改革举措,在医学教育国际化方面取得了一定突破。

As the most important issue in higher education, internationalization has brought about new challenges and opportunities for medical colleges. To adapt to the internationalization of medical education, Shantou University Medical College sets up the goals to become one of the best medical colleges in China that enjoys international reputation with its internationalized standards and characters. It has made great break- throughs in the internationalization of its education system through reform actions such as creating a new medical education model in line with international standards, establishing an internationalized teaching team, setting up a faculty development center, and carrying out professional certification of clinical medicine.
