Open pit mining changing into underground mining is a complicated engineering system that is concerned with many new technical problems. According to actual conditions of Hainan Beiyi Iron Ore Mine, some important links during changing stage are considered. And concrete methods for completing changing are found out that can ensure the safe and smooth changing without interrupting normal mining operation.
