摘要
梁实秋的创作与翻译相得益彰,其代表作"雅舍"系列散文和汉译《莎士比亚全集》恪守"中庸"之道,体现了"隔"与"不隔"的文化心态。一方面,梁实秋的散文在闲适、幽默的氛围中描摹人性,匡救世风,他的莎剧译文注重文学的艺术性和"陌生化"效应,这种"隔"的文化心态有助于形成中国文学与文化的多元化局面;另一方面,梁实秋的散文倡导儒家思想的人文精神和文学的道德价值,他的莎剧译文传递了"信"、"仁"、"中"、"和"等伦理观念,这种"不隔"的文化心态有助于弘扬中西传统文化中的某些优良特质,促进中外文学的互动。
LIANG Shi-qiu's writing and translation complement each other. His representative works entitled essay series of Ya She and Chinese version of the Complete Works of Shakespeare scrupulously abide by "the doctrine of the mean", which shows the cultural mentality of "estrangement" and "non-estrangement". On the one hand, LIANG Shi-qiu describes humanity in his essays of leisurely and humorous style to improve social moral. His translation of Shakespeare's works emphasizes artistic feature and strangeness effect. Such "estrangement" is helpful to forming the diversity of Chinese literature and culture; on the other hand, L1ANG Shi-qiu advocates Confueianism's humanism and literature's morality in his essays. His translation of Shakespeare's works reflects such ethics as sincerity, benevolence, moderation and harmony. Such "non-estrangement" is helpful to promoting not only the spirit of Chinese and foreign cultural tradition but also the interaction between Chinese culture and foreign cultures.
