Development of gastroenterology in China:a review for the past 30 years and expectation for the future

文章系统回顾了中国30年以来消化系统疾病诊断和治疗等方面的发展历程,主要包括酸相关性疾病、幽门螺杆菌及相关疾病、功能性胃肠病、小肠疾病、胰腺疾病、炎症性肠病、消化道肿瘤、消化内镜等方面及其相关的基础医学研究等,论述了在这些领域所产生的巨大变革和为中国健康事业所作的贡献。

Sununary： This article reviews the advances in diagnosis and treatment of digestive diseases during the past 30 years in China, highlighting the acid-related diseases, Helicobacter pylori （Hp） and Hp-related diseases, func- tional gastrointestinal disease, intestinal diseases, pancreatic diseases, inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal cancers, digestive endoscopy and related basic research. We illustrate the enormous innovations in these fields and their contribution to the healthcare in China.
