A Random Talk on "Integration"

摘要 "整合"一词在今天生活中已频频出现。本文试图对该词的种种定义进行比较,分析其特征,从哲学层面上探讨中西方对整合的不同认识,阐述整合和知识的关系以及知识整合与信息整合的有机联系。本文还讨论了整合在教育工作中的作用以及在外语教学和研究中的运用。 The notion 'integration' has frequently appeared nowadays. This paper tries to analyze its chief features by studying different definitions, explore from the philosophical perspective the views held by the east and west, discuss the relation between integration and knowledge and the relation between integration and information as well,and finally touch upon the role of integration in education and its application in foreign language teaching and research.
