摘要
随着全国英语等级考试(PETS)规模的逐步扩大,教育部考试中心开始着手计算机辅助口试系统的研究,以解决口语考试中遇到的现实问题。研究人员经过综合考虑设计出了符合计算机化要求的考试形式,为考生和评分教师分别设计了考试平台和评分平台。之后的试验结果表明,该考试可以作为PETS低级别考试现场口试的一种替代形式。
With PETS' significant increase in popularity, NEEA begins to study the possibility of developing computer-based spoken tests. In the past three years, the researchers designed new spoken test formats and constructed a platform for the candidates to take the test and the examiners to assess the candidates. Meanwhile, they conducted an experiment in the PETS candidates. The feedback information shows that the computer-based tests can be used as a substitute form of the current face-to-face spoken tests.
