摘要
衔接与连贯问题是EFL写作中的常见问题和棘手问题。本文针对这一现象,从非结构衔接和叙事结构两方面入手,对叙事语体写作进行个案探讨。研究发现:(1)EFL作者非结构衔接手段,特别是连接手段的运用能力不足,影响文章局部衔接质量进而影响整体连贯性。(2)过多使用评议,使语篇结构与语类结构之间产生较大差异,影响语篇的连贯性。解决好这一问题对于提高英文写作能力具有重要意义。
EFL writings are often marred by cohesion and coherence problems. By examining the issues of cohesion and narrative structure in EFL narratives, this case study concludes that EFL students with such problems are often incompetent users of cohesive devices, with conjunction in particular, and they show a strong tendency in overusing evaluation, which causes variance between the text structure and generic structure.
