摘要
本文从语用角度出发,以《纽约时报》中的新闻语篇为例,主要探讨了美国报刊新闻语篇中三种指示语的偏离用法:人称近距全指"we";人称远距泛指"man/person";作为时间指示语的虚拟语气结构。这三种偏离用法蕴含丰富的文化隐含义,对其进行合理阐释和解读,有助于对美国社会的深层文化进行理解,有助于提高读者的媒介素养和跨文化交流能力。
This paper discloses the pragmatic implicatures of three types of deictics in American journalistic English: the proximal inclusive 'we', the distal collective 'man / person', and the subjunctive mood structure as the temporal deictic. It concludes that the implicature study of deictics in American journalistic English is essential to the enhancing of the readers’ media literacy, the understanding of American society, as well as the standpoints of the American newspapers.
