摘要
本文报告了对英语专业毕业生39篇论文摘要内容的分析结果,旨在分析在论文摘要语篇视阈下英语专业学生的综合概括能力的特点,为进一步研究专业学生思维能力的培养提供参考数据。笔者根据学术论文摘要的语篇结构要素,找出各环节相应的内容参数:引述词、语篇的连贯性、语言的精炼性及词汇搭配(使用)的准确性,再依据这4个参数分析专业学生综合概括能力特点及存在问题。
The paper reports an exploratory study on 39 English compositions by English majors in an attempt to identify features and problems in their general thinking. Based on close scrutiny of 102 abstract compositions, we hypothesized 4 parameters (i.e. reporting words, coherence, ref ines, lexical collocation) accompanying the supposedly 4 stages in composing (i.e. topic specif ication, purpose statement, methodology, implications/conclusions). Then we tried to verify our hypotheses by marking 102 compositions, which yielded a tentative framework for analyzing the general features of and salient problems in the students’ general thinking.
