After the Second World War,American intelligence agency reformed to meet the needs of the Cold War:the dissolution of the wartime agencies-the Strategic Intelligence Service,and set up the first peacetime central intelligence agency in the United States history-the Central Intelligence Group.In the process,the United States intelligence agencies and intelligence work saw the forward direction and its own deficiencies,which became a solid foundation for the establishment of the CIA and the development of post-war United States intelligence work.
