Currently the College Entrance Examination system has some negative effects on the elementary education. The main defects lie in the lack of the comprehensive assessment mechanism, which is the important goal of the College Entrance Examination system reform.The author thinks that setting up the senior achievement test can overcome the defects. And many assessment problems lead to a gradual process to reform the College Entrance Examination system.
