意大利椅子在现代设计史中以出色的艺术性、功能性和观念性而著称,半个世纪以来始终在椅界占据首要地位。综观意大利现代椅子的发展历程,其之所以表现杰出,根本原因在于意大利设计师以不懈的文化精神为创作动力,将意大利独有的传统精神、前卫精神和人文精神寄予椅子设计之中。本文即从此三个角度分析意大利现代椅子设计的文化精神。

Italian chairs are famous for characters which are full of excellent art, function and idea in modern design history, and they are always in the top position in the area of chairs in this half century. From the history of Italian modern chairs, we could see that the ultimate reasons for their excellent characters are Italian designers’ cultural spirit which are special traditional spirit, avant-garde spirit and humane spirit. This article will talk about the cultural spirit of Italian modern chair design from three aspects.
