Russian dancing art has a leading standing in the dancing world for its brilliant national characteristic and superb dancing technique.If tracking its resource,we can see that,as other regional dances,it also derives from daily life.This paper introduces the close relationship between Russian folk dance,Russian national life and traditions,and,on this basis,explores the function and form of Russian folk dance.
