On Educational Orientation of Newly Founded Undergraduate Universityies

在我国高等教育由精英阶段向大众化阶段转变的过程中,各级政府通过合并、重组等方式组建了一批新的本科院校。它们不仅成为我国高等教育的重要组成部分和新生力量,而且在一定程度上也影响到我国高等教育的整体水平。因此,新建本科院校如何应对新形势的要求?该走向何处?如何可持续发展?等一系列问题显得日益突出,并成为必须要认真研究解决的重要课题。本文从几个维度对现有学界的研究进行了综述,并对未来发展方向作出预测。

During the period when higher education transforming from elite-oriented stage to popularization stage, governments of all levels have established a number of new undergraduate universities through merging. They not only become the important part and fresh power of higher education, but also influence the overall level of higher education in our country. Therefore, a series of questions such as how to meet the challenge of new situation, which direction to choose and how to develop sustainably are becoming more and more obvious for newly founded undergraduate universities, which is also an important subject demanding careful study. This article introduces the present researches from different angles, and predicts the future development trend.
