The Growth of Marxism Sino-orientation and Chinese Modernization through Interaction

中国的先进知识分子经过无数的挫折和失败,最终在西方传入中国的各种思潮中选择了马克思主义,并在实践中努力把马克思主义的基本理论与中国的具体实际相结合,使马克思主义的原则和方法在解决中国现实社会矛盾的过程中具体化,从而实现"马克思主义中国化",为中国的现代化找到了一条光明而正确的道路。中国的现代化,又必将进一步丰富马克思主义,使之在中国现实条件下得以充实和发展,两者在互动中成长。

After numerous setbacks and failures, Chinese advanced intellectuals chose Marxism in varied thoughts introduced from the west, and attempted to integrate the basic theories of Marxism with Chinese concrete realities, which made the theories and methods of Marxism more practical when solving Chinese actual social conflicts. As a result the Marxism Sino-orientation is realized, which provides a glorious and correct path for Chinese Modernization. On the other hand, Chinese Modernization supplements Marxism, enhances its development in Chinese actual condition. The two develop together through interaction.
