Based on the introduction that GTO may shut off the thyristor and the introduction to the characteristics and feature of GTR's high power transistor,the article emphasize the comparison of the functions of the GTO and GTR.And the article also introduces the improved design on the horizon output circuit to realize that GTR replaces GTO to use.in CVM series of monitor.At last,the article gives an example of that GTR replaces GTO to use in horizon output circuit.
