依法治国是中国的基本方略,它具有渐进性的中国特色。中国依法治国的起点应当是1978年中共十一届三中全会。依法治国是市场经济的客观要求、民主政治的重要条件、人类文明的重要标志、国家长治久安的根本保障。法治国家的建设和经济体制改革、思想观念的转变都是联系在一起的,是一个长期的过程。

Rule of law is China' s basic national strategy with a progressive Chinese characteristics.The starting point of China' s rule of law should be the Third Plenum of the 11th CPC in 1978.Rule of law is the objective requirement of the market economy,an important condition for democracy,an important symbol of human civilization and the fundamental guarantee of China' s long-term peace and stability.Construction of a legal state is connected with the economic-system reform and the change of ideas,which is a long-term process.
